EDUSAT

  EDUSAT With the success of the INSAT-based educational services, a need was felt to launch a  satellite dedicated for educational service and ISRO conceived the EDUSAT project in October 2002.  EDUSAT is the first exclusive satellite for serving the educational sector. It is specially configured to  meet the growing demand for an interactive satellite-based distance education system for the country  through audio-visual medium, employing Direct-to-Home (DTH) quality broadcast. The 1950 kg  EDUSAT is launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota, into a  Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) by ISRO’s Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle  (GSLV). From GTO, EduSat will reach the 36,000 km high Geostationary Orbit(GSO) by firing, in  stages, it’s on board Liquid Apogee Motor (LAM).         In GSO, the satellite will be colocated with  KALPANA-1 and INSAT-3C satellites at 74 deg East longitude. FIELD TRIP

February 11, 2024                                   Field trip are organized visit of teachers and students to immediate or distant places to enrich learning experience and to further instructional purpose of regular classroom activities.It provide interactive tour for any place and turns learning into a experience to share with their friends and family.In a curriculum field trip ,have many importance.Primarly the real world experience should clearly illustrate and enhance information taught by curriculum.Final advantage is they are away to being the students close together.         On January 11,2024 our college conducted a field trip based on the curriculum .Aazhimala temple and Kovalam beach were the selected places.According to syllabus , the syllabus the field trip was optional wise.All the students reached the college at 7:30AM .The teacher trainees were in moo...
