The fifth week of teaching started from 21st October to 25th October. After signing the attendance register, I moved to my class and continued with my lesson. Later I got the duty to conduct the SAT exam for IX Std. I collected the response sheets and filled the tabular sheet with the marks of the students. Then I submitted it to the concerned teacher.  I completed the chapter Waiting For Rain and I incorporated activities and analysed the learning pattern of the students. I gave group and follow up activity to teach different discourses. I conducted a class test on the first chapter. On analysing the response sheet, I got an idea about how much the students understood. I also taken Grammer and a discourse class for students The week was well organised. I was able to grab the attention of the students which gave me confidence.

Conscientization programme is an educational initiative designed to raise awareness among individuals or groups about social, cultural, or political issues that affect their lives. The term "conscientization" (or consciousness-raising) originates from the work of Brazilian educator Paulo Freire and refers to the process of developing a critical awareness of one’s social reality through reflection and action. As part of our B Ed curriculum, we the teacher trainees of GHS keralapuram conducted a Conscientization programme on October 22 , 2024 on the topic “ AN AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON NUTRITION AND BALANCED DIET . The fourth week of teaching practice started from 14th October to 18th October. As I had finished the last chapter Saga of Tiffin Carriers, I started new chapter waiting for Rain I gave a detailed introduction about beauty Monsoon season in Kerala using powerpoint presentation. I continued with the lesson for the rest of the week. I checked their understanding using scaffolding questions. Each class winded up with follow up activities.   The week was well organised

The third week of teaching practice started from 7th October to 10th October. l complete the chapter Saga of Tiffin Carriers and take a class on grammer postion and a class for discourse. I mostly used ICT for teaching which makes the teachings Learning process more interactive The week was well engaging both in academic and co curricular levels.

The second week of the teaching practice was from 30th September to 4th October. I started the new chapter Saga of tiffin Carriers . As usual , I started the class with an informal conversation and created rapport with the students. I gave entry activity and taught new concepts in connection with their existing knowledge. I used flashcards and powerpoint presentation for introducing new words. I elicit responses from the students itself which ensured the active participation of the students. I winded up each class by giving follow up activity focusing different discourses.  The week was engaging and gave me confidence to effectively use different teaching aids.
