Community Extension Programme

 A community Extension programme was organised as part of two year B.ed curriculum. We, the six department of first semester B .ed were assigned to clean our community. Our college Fathima Memorial Training college , pallimukk choose nearby Government Ayurveda Hospital pallimukk for cleaning. On 8 November 2023, Tuesday community Extension programme was inaugurated by our principal Dr. Anitha mam , principal FMTC. After making us aware of the need for health and hygiene she ask us to take care our health .

      

                   The programme was inaugurated with the aim of maintaining good hygiene and health habits for the prevention of widespread diseases. Mask and gloves were distributed among us . We were warmly welcome by the hospital authorities especially Dr . Deepa . The main doctor, Dr Deepa provide us a valuable and informative speech . As National Ayurveda day was on November 10 she remind us the importance of Ayurveda in day to day life.

            

                      We divided into groups for making our cleaning easier. For cleaning the premises we were provided spade,rakes, wheelbarrow, dustpan ,brooms etc. Each and every one do the assigned duties with much dedication. Our hardwork really pays off. We classify waste and disposed bio degradable waste and gave non biodegradable wastes to Haritha karma sena. After that we planted medicinal herbs and watered existing saplings. The hospital authorities were much happy and really appreciated our hardwork.
